St Cast, in northern Brittany, is a popular sailing and holiday resort with a choice of seven beaches, numerous cliff top walks, swimming pools and over twenty-five excellent restaurants and cafes. The cottage, built of stone in the late 19th century, can comfortably accommodate ten people. Conveniently situated, away from traffic, in a part of town originally inhabited by fishermen, it is midway between the shops and Grande Plage to the east and the cliff-top walks and sandy coves to the north.
